Dec. 6--It really is possible to see the future today.
About 20 San Antonio companies were checking into their futures Wednesday by participating in the third annual Phoenix Program Future Fair at St. Philip's College.
The Phoenix Program is a "school to work" campus sponsored by the San Antonio School District and St. Philip's Southwest Campus. It has 83 high school seniors and juniors and six teachers.
The interesting thing is that the Phoenix Program is neither a program for at-risk students nor a gifted and talented curriculum, said Melissa Nitu, an English teacher at Phoenix.
