For Kansas State, Saturday's game looked all too familiar.
With their ineffective quarterbacks turning the ball over and their
kicking game blowing up in their face, the Wildcats were forced to stare at the heavens through the Bank One Ballpark's open roof.
There were no answers to be found there, either.
No. 18 Syracuse feasted on K-State's ineptness to win, 26-3.
The Wildcats' offense couldn't run, pass or take care of the ball. K-State rushed for a season-low 33 yards on 34 carries and completed 14 of 40 passes, including two interceptions.
"We couldn't throw and catch,"
K-State offensive coordinator Ron Hudson said. "We just kept shooting ourselves in the foot."
