NEW YORK_Forgive Martina Hingis for her extreme bias about the outcome of the marathon, rain-interrupted Magnus Norman-Max Mirnyi match Sunday night.

She had a double vested interest. Norman, the No. 3 seed at the U.S. Open, is her boyfriend. That particular evening, she was scheduled to play her fourth-round singles match after he was done.
