Apr. 24--Young people didn't drink Cherry Coke. Engineers didn't read the thick instruction manuals of the latest Siemens gizmos. Ford wanted a new way to reach younger females.
All three companies turned to Raintree Media, a small, 3-year-old Coral Gables ad agency that's making a national name for itself because of its multimedia, high-graphics creations.
For Cherry Coke, it has designed two online games. For Siemens, it created a compact disc in which engineers learn about the company's tech products by playing a city-building game. For Ford, it developed a Web site that allowed women to plan their lives, providing dates for Madonna concerts as well as the times they needed to change the oil in their cars.
