Apr. 28--Even while revenue is soaring for online travel companies, they're worried about a future of declining growth rates and a lack of customer loyality.
That was the message heard Thursday by 600 people attending Jupiter Communications' fourth annual Travel conference, being held at the downtown Miami Hyatt Regency.
Senior analyst Melissa Shore presented data that showed online travel spending, which started at $300 million in 1996, increased to $6.5 billion last year and is expected to quadruple to $28.2 billion in 2005.
