Not only do the devices allow care providers to deliver service from virtually any location, but the equipment also enables them to track billing, schedule visits, consult drug formularies, and download charts and radiology images -- even track patient vital signs in real time from remote settings.
Despite their supposed aversion to change, physicians appear to be bringing mobile applications into the medical forefront.
