Nov. 24--LOWVILLE, N.Y. -- Local planning officials expect to receive a revised site plan for a Wal-Mart supercenter here by early next week, allowing plenty of time to complete the permitting process before spring.

"We're expecting construction by the end of March or the first of April," Charles W. Stevens, the town and village code enforcement officer, said of the proposed 106,000-square-foot store on Route 12 just south of the village. "Whenever they can get in the ground."
