Nov. 24--Miami Beach's contract with a county tourism bureau should include financial incentives tied to bringing more visitors to the resort city, a city panel decided Tuesday.
The vote means city negotiators must revisit a contentious issue they thought was resolved last week when the Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau agreed to forgo performance bonuses in exchange for renewing its $5-million-a-year contract with the Beach.
