FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. _ A 79-year-old woman ran out of luck Tuesday morning before she could even board her flight at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport for a gambling trip to the Bahamas.
Screeners at the security X-ray checkpoint in Terminal 3 noticed something unusual in one of the side-zipped pockets of Margaret Anderson's carry-on bags. With her permission, they emptied the tote bag and found what looked like a gray hardcover book entitled, "Colt Derringer Limited Edition, 1836-1960."
