Nov. 22--GOUVERNEUR, N.Y. -- Dennis L. Edwards and Tammy L. Groves liked Jumbo's Dinette so much they bought it.

"We noticed there were a lot of regulars and that it had a family atmosphere," Ms. Groves said. "Somebody will say something and the next thing you know, everybody's talking to one another."
