What does Dell know about the cutting edge?

That's the question rivals are asking as the personal computer maker re-enters the innovative and fast-growing blade server market.

After briefly entering the segment two years ago -- and sitting on the sidelines ever since -- Dell will soon begin selling the PowerEdge 1855. Dell execs say the new machine will undercut rivals and finally deliver on the promise of blades: easier use, smaller size and lower cost.
