SEATTLE _ Although Miami Dolphins interim coach Jim Bates bounded up and down the sideline, not even his unbridled energy could alter the direction of this seasonlong car wreck.
``He was unbelievable. With his leadership, you could tell we were feeding off him today,'' said tight end Randy McMichael.
