MIAMI _ There was a moment Saturday afternoon when Brock Berlin raised his hands over his head, jumped up and down across the Orange Bowl like a little boy and pumped his fists repeatedly in the air.

Berlin had thrown an ordinary 10-yard touchdown pass to give the Hurricanes a 34-point lead in their blowout victory over Wake Forest. But for Berlin, that pass, this game ... these past two months have been about so much more.
