FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. _ Middleweight Jermain Taylor, training in Miami, knows what's on the line when he fights William Joppy in two weeks.
Taylor will defend his WBC Continental Americas title against the former three-time middleweight champion on HBO's Boxing After Dark series Season's Beatings pro card on Dec. 4 in Little Rock, Ark., Taylor's hometown.
Since turning pro, Taylor (21-0, 16 KOs), a 2000 U.S. Olympic bronze medalist, has been progressing with Miami trainer Patrick Burns.
