Nov. 19--ALBANY, N.Y. -- Employment figures for October showed some job growth over the year but very little change since September.
"It's been pretty quiet over the last month," said Alan A. Beideck, regional labor analyst for the state Department of Labor. "We haven't had a lot of big announcements of any significance to the labor market. I think that's pretty much borne out in our numbers."
