Nov. 19--Foreclosure postings in the Dallas-Fort Worth area spiked for the month of December as more owners face losing their homes.

Lenders have posted more than 3,100 area homes for forced sale in next month's foreclosure auctions, a 27 percent jump from postings in December 2003.
