Nov. 19--Investors punished Claire's Stores on Thursday after the Pembroke Pines retailer fell short on its third-quarter revenue target and lowered expectations for the current period.
Claire's shares plunged $4.19, or 16 percent, to $22.45.
The retailer, popular among the teenage set for its costume jewelry and accessories, blamed the third-quarter misfiring on lost sales related to the hurricanes.
