WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. _ The LPGA Tour will continue to expand internationally next year with three new overseas events on the schedule and the imminent renewal of a tour-record TV rights deal with a Korean network.
LPGA Commissioner Ty Votaw released a 2005 schedule Thursday that will include a new season-opening World Cup team competition co-sanctioned by the Ladies European Tour at Fancourt Hotel & Country Club in George, South Africa, Feb. 11-13 and two new full-field events in Mexico.
