DAVIE, Fla. _ Although Miami Dolphins interim head coach Jim Bates once broke his hand during a fiery halftime speech, don't expect any ``win one for the Gipper'' pep talks during the 12-minute break of his first game as an NFL coach against the Seahawks on Sunday.
On second thought, the Dolphins need to shake up their halftime routine as they've been thrashed 68-3 in third quarters this season. Obviously, 1-8 teams are going to be outscored, but the 65-point disparity is two points more than the entire season's margin of defeat (123-186).
