Richard Eisinger doesn't like to live on the edge.

That's why he picks stocks with a clear advantage over its competition. As manager of Mosaic Mid-Cap Fund, he seeks firms determined to sustain their market leadership.

"It's very difficult to go out tomorrow and start a competing operation against the companies we own," said Eisinger, 39, who manages Mosaic Mid-Cap with Jay Sekelsky.

The pair have ridden their well-positioned picks to the top of the mid-cap field.
