Nov. 16--MIDDLESEX COUNTY, N.J. -- A former ticket broker who jumped bail in January and fled the country after admitting that he cheated customers and the state Treasury out of $770,000 avoided sentencing yesterday when he told a Superior Court judge that he wants to retract his guilty plea.
