Nov. 16--A sassy ad campaign for Viagra is in its final days after running afoul of the Food and Drug Administration.
The federal agency ordered Pfizer Inc. to pull the spots for the erectile dysfunction treatment because the ads omitted the drug's risks and neglected to specify what it's for. The ads also suggested that Viagra would trigger a renewed level of sexual desire and activity, even though no proof exists for that claim, the FDA said.
In the widely shown ads, a couple peers at lingerie in a store window and exchanges flirtatious glances. Blue horns that sprout from behind the man's head are revealed...
