Stocks Extend Rally As Volume Builds

1Falling oil prices, solid economic data and some strong profit reports boosted the Nasdaq 2.3% last week. It was the fourth straight weekly gain, all of which have been powered by above-average volume. Smaller stocks pushed the S&P small- and mid-cap indexes to record highs.
