Nov. 9--For the first time in several years, office occupancy in Norwalk has edged higher than in Stamford.
Norwalk's office availability rate in the quarter that ended Sept. 30 was 19.6 percent, compared with 19.7 percent in Stamford, according to averages taken from statistics compiled by five real estate firms. Available office space is that which is vacant or scheduled to become empty in the coming months.
Several large leases helped cut the empty office space in Norwalk.
