LEIDEN, Netherlands, Nov. 8 (UPI) -- Dutch doctors have found a way to transplant an ovary to the upper arm to preserve hormonal function while a woman gets treated for cervical cancer.
Physicians at the Leiden University Hospital, in a study summarized in the Dec. 15 issue of the journal Cancer, reveal their technique and how it has been successfully done.
