Oct. 31--Saving raised 7.6 billion ($9.7, 5.3 billion pounds) through the sale of 20 percent of public utility Enel, the Italian government faces the much more daunting task of getting investors interested in state broadcaster RAI.

Maurizio Gasparri, the Italian telecommunications minister, said last week that a global coordinator for a share offer, probably for at least 20 percent of the company, will be appointed shortly.
