IRVING, Texas _ Veteran defensive end Robert Porcher, who has not played in the Lions' first seven games, will meet with team president Matt Millen and coach Steve Mariucci to determine his future with the team.

"We are going to visit with Robert Monday or Tuesday, early this week," Mariucci said after the Lions' 31-21 loss Sunday to the Dallas Cowboys.

Mariucci declined to respond to speculation that the meeting might determine whether Porcher remains with the team for the rest of the season, retires in mid-season or is released.
