UPN's Missy Elliott series hits the `Road' in January.
Shortly after the run of the third season of "America's Next Top Model" and shortly before the run of the fourth season of "America's Next Top Model," UPN has set a premiere date for its next female-skewing dramality series. "The Road to Fame with Missy Elliott" will premiere on Wednesday, Jan. 5 in the "ANTM" 8 p.m. ET slot.
In the 10-episode series, 13 aspiring vocalists and performers will join Grammy winner Elliott in her tour bus, traveling around the country living together, training together and competing for a $100,000 prize and, almost incidentally, the chance at musical stardom.
