Early labor induction after fetal death can minimize the incidence of endomyometritis and psychological stress, said Dr. Sharon M. Salamat of the University of Miami and her associates.

The investigators studied 100 women who underwent early labor induction and 108 women who were delivered following spontaneous onset of labor after fetal death.
