Matt Treanor never became exasperated when an airline passenger sitting a row behind him complained unceasingly about weather problems delaying the trip.
"She wanted to get home to her boyfriend," Treanor said. "I (thought), `Look, lady, I've spent 11 years trying to get on this damn plane.' "
After 890 games in the minors, Treanor arrived in South Florida sans luggage Wednesday and made his major-league debut.
