Summer is officially under way. Just check the temperature gauge and crowds at the beach. It's the season to freshen kitchens with new cookbooks and other great reads. Here are some of the publications we think will add sizzle to your menus:
_"Douglas Rodriguez's Flavors of the Latin Grill" (Ten Speed Press, $24.95): An original Mango Gang member who defined Florida fare, Rodriguez is renowned for his achievements in Nuevo Latino cuisine.
