NEWPORT NEWS, Va. _ He's nervous, anxious and in love.
Jacob Wessler is shopping for one of the most-important purchases in his life _ an engagement ring.
The ring needs to be special. It needs to say he loves her.
Wessler is 26 and a fourth-year medical school student at the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond, Va. His parents Jim and Kris Wessler live in Yorktown, Va.
He and Tricia Geyer, 25, a graduate of the College of William and Mary and also a fourth-year medical student at MCV, were long-time friends before they began dating in May 2003. In a few months, they talked marriage.
Then in December, they went to Tiffany's in New York and casually looked at some "nice ice."
