"Hear ye, hear ye! National Right to Life Committee has appointed Holly Miller as Field Coordinator to humbly serve the state and local affiliates of National Right to Life and to assist in establishing new chapters."
Well, the announcement wasn't exactly that formal, but it is a big deal because now you have a full-time staff member at National Right to Life at your beck and call.
If you have ever wondered "How can I get more involved?"; "What if there isn't a right to life chapter in my community?"; or "What now?" then call me. I would be glad to make suggestions.
But as a hint, let me say I will likely suggest that you start or join an existing chapter in your hometown or county. [I can send you our "Chapter Manual," a great handbook chock full of advice and suggestions for new and established chapters.]
If starting a chapter seems too ambitious (right now), I can certainly suggest other ways to make a difference and also put you in touch with your state right to life organization.
Are you a chapter coordinator or already involved with a local chapter? I am also here for you. You likely have experiences and ideas that would benefit other chapters, and they likely have information that would benefit you. I am committed to serving you both as a resource and as a liaison between chapters.
In fact, there are several projects I am initiating to serve you better, so I am going to need your help too. First, I would like to make our chapter database as complete as possible and use it to create an e-mail listserv as a more immediate and economical way of inter-chapter communication. NRLC has some of your addresses already, but just in case--and especially if you have e-mail--please clip and send in the form below or e-mail me the information.
