When he was a kid in Minnesota, Mark Steven Johnson was an avid reader of the "Daredevil" comic book.
A little more than two decades later, an astonished Johnson found himself directing the "Daredevil" movie.
"It was pretty surreal," Johnson said during a recent telephone conversation. "Ben Affleck _ (star of the film) was a big fan of the comic book, too. There were a lot times during production we'd just look at each other as if to say, `Can you really believe we're doing this?'"
