COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. _ The Air Force Academy's sex-assault scandal has prompted leaders to seek advice from other service academies on how to build 4,100 cadets into officers.

Commandant of Cadets Brig. Gen. Johnny Weida will visit the Army and naval academies in coming weeks to see how they develop character and build leaders.

"We're all talking together. We're all trying to produce officers of character with integrity," Superintendent Lt. Gen. John Rosa Jr. said this week at his first news conference since taking command July 9.
