JACKSONVILLE, Fla. _ Jacksonville Jaguars running back Fred Taylor vacationed in Europe for the first time this summer, taking his new wife on a trip to London and Paris, touring historic sites such as Buckingham Palace and the Eiffel Tower.

She loved it.

He was miserable.

There was too much on his mind _ like leaving a football legacy.

"I want to be known as one of the greats in the game," Taylor said. "Like when you say Walter, Barry, Emmitt, I want people to also say Fred, just my first name, not my whole name.

"Anyone around football knows who Walter (Payton), Emmitt (Smith) and Barry (Sanders) are. I want to get there, too. And that means not missing any more games for four to five years."
