THEY COVER MORE GROUND THAN broadleaf, spend more time horizontal than bobsledders, and share the kind of mutual respect usually reserved for daredevils. But until last November, Torii Hunter and Doug Mientkiewicz had only turf burns to show for their fielding exploits.
