CHICAGO _ I've got Dec, 6 in the office pool for the first Scottie Pippen meltdown.

If he throws a chair, blasts Bill Cartwright and then says the fans favor Dalibor Bagaric, the pool doubles. Of course, the entry fee is $1.80.

You've also got to figure there will be an arthroscopic surgery in there somewhere, probably when the Bulls are going to New Jersey, Detroit and Minneapolis in January.

So let me make one thing perfectly clear: The Bulls' expected announcement Sunday that they've signed Scottie Pippen is a terrific move.

And, no, Pippen didn't tip me to say that.
