ATLANTA, GA--A market survey conducted by the Association of Energy Engineers (ABE) produced a detailed list of proposals to ease U.S. dependence on foreign energy sources. The AEE, a non-profit organization, developed the proposals based on responses obtained from a survey of its more than 9000 members. Other survey topics include identification of market trends, income and salary data, and a comprehensive survey of electric, gas, and energy services programs.
The AEE recorded the following results from its members among other key findings:
* 95.5% of respondents indicate that a national energy policy should identify new energy supplies from a multitude of sources and promote energy efficiency
* 75.4% indicate global warming concerns need to be addressed in a national energy policy
