Three years after their last contract negotiation _ and a strike that lasted more than two weeks _ Verizon Communications Inc. and two unions representing 75,000 workers are headed for another showdown.
Verizon's contracts with the Communications Workers of America and the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers expire in exactly one month.
