We like gross stuff. We like sexy stuff. Men are complicated.
The sensitive folks at Viacom would like to put a fine point on that idea. But, alas, a judge won't let them call their new network Spike TV. So until the lawyers work it out, we'll just have to think of this gross/sexy stuff as "The New TNN."
Whatever the name, it's not your grandfather's basic cable.
Starting with an animated block that includes Pamela Anderson's "Stripperella" and "The Ren & Stimpy Adult Party Cartoon," it's another small step in pushing the envelope of what's acceptable to air on a commercial channel.
