Jun. 17--ANCHORAGE, ALASKA, UNIVERSITY OFFERS TEEN AVIATION CAMP: The University of Alaska Anchorage is offering a five-day aviation camp for high school juniors and seniors to introduce them to possible careers in the aviation industry, including air traffic control, aviation administration, maintenance technology and piloting.
The camp, offered by UAA's Aviation Technology Division, costs $700 and runs from July 20 to July 25 at Merrill Field. Scholarships are available for Alaska Native students. The deadline is Friday. For more information, go to …
