Jun. 17--ONWARD & UPWARD: The Columbia firm of Simon Oswald Associates Inc. announces the promotion of Bill Morgan to senior architect. Morgan's 22 years of architectural experience includes positions as a corporate architect for Hallmark and J.C. Penney and most recently as a project architect for the University of Missouri. A registered architect for 18 years, he currently is licensed in Missouri and Texas, where he is also a registered interior designer. In addition, he serves as the 2003 president of the Mid-Missouri component of the American Institute of Architects.
Environmental Dynamics Inc. announces the addition of two new employees. Fred McCabe has been hired as procurement manager for EDI, and will handle purchasing and inventory management. A Kansas City native, McCabe has resided in Columbia for 33 years. Before joining EDI, he was with the consulting firms of ILMS LLC. Before that he spent 24 years as director of materials for Hubbell (Chance) power systems of Centralia.
He also served on the REDI board. He earned a bachelor's degree in marketing and a master's in business administration from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
