MIAMI _ He's back. After a two-year hiatus, the mustachioed Juan Valdez is dusting off his broad-brimmed sombrero, slinging his poncho over a shoulder and bridling up Conchita, his trusty burro.

The National Federation of Coffee Growers of Colombia awarded a $9 million marketing account this week to a team of Interpublic Group of Companies to brew up a fresh campaign for its venerable Valdez, who was shelved two years ago due to budget cuts.
