Jun. 5--Residents in some parts of Onslow County soon will receive invitations to community information meetings about zoning.
The meetings, at 6:30 p.m. June 17 at the Morton Elementary School cafeteria and 6:30 p.m. June 19 at the Summersill Elementary School multi-purpose center, will give property owners and residents in Phase I of the county's zoning plan a chance to find out what zoning is, what the county is doing and why.
Planning staff will also find out how people in Phase I of the zoning plan use land now and what future plans they might have.…
