Jun. 3--Movie-rental leader Blockbuster Inc. plans to trim its corporate staff by about 10 percent this year as it cuts costs and focuses on new projects such as a multichannel subscription service.
Corporate-level employees at its Dallas headquarters and McKinney distribution center received a memo Friday saying that additional staff cuts would be made this week and throughout the year.
