Jun. 2--The attraction of Ontario as a gateway into Southern California, according to a group of Mexican travel agents, boils down to shopping.

The relative appeal of Ontario "depends on what you're selling," said agent Patricia Badial. Family visits and shopping sprees are the biggest selling points for Ontario's airport gateway.

"Shopping is good during holiday times. It is good there are hotels right in the parking lot of the [Ontario Mills] mall," Badial said.
