SAN FRANCISCO _ The Giants have always been upbeat about the pitching of young Jesse Foppert.
Now they have another reason to be happy with him.
Foppert beat the Colorado Rockies as much with his bat as with his arm in a 2-1 victory on a rare Saturday night game in San Francisco. With a crowd of 40,256 on hand, the Giants went over the one million mark (1,002,329) in 26 dates, putting them on pace to draw 3 million for a fourth straight season at Pacific Bell Park.
