May 28--MOSS POINT, Miss.--Jackson County could become the site for a new production facility for an unmanned military helicopter if an item in the Senate's version of the defense authorization bill makes it through conference committee.
The $46 million project, which involves converting a helicopter into a pilotless version, calls for producing eight Fire Scouts at Trent Lott International Airport.
It's unclear how many jobs could result.
