Just in time for summer: Pioneer Electronics has launched two in-car entertainment systems designed to entertain passengers who ride in the back seats.

Pioneer said its new mobile multimedia systems, AV-SYS701RSE and AV-SYS700RSE, include its in-dash DVD player, featuring touch panel control and dual zone capability, allowing simultaneous playback of DVD movies or CDs for rear passengers and AM, FM or XM radio for the front passengers.

"Pioneer continues to enhance the in-car entertainment experience with easy to install A/V packages. These one box solutions cut down installation time and require less modifications to the vehicle," said Michael Townsen, vice president of marketing for mobile entertainment at Pioneer Electronics (USA).
